Hi,
My name is Kelly Wolfe and I am 20 years old. This is my first year but my second semester here at Missouri Western. I am from right here in St. Joe. I don't really like to read or write but I'm trying to like them both, but it is taking some getting use to. Reading and writing has always been hard for me, for example when I read or write something the words sometimes more on me, so I can read the same thing over and over again and see something different every time and that make writing that much harder. Although I do have to say that if I focus hard enough I can get into a good book, but its a lot of work.

I'm sorry to hear that you do not enjoy reading and writing. Tell me is there an exact moment in time when you decided you did not like these practices OR were they never encouraged as a child. I don't know if you are aware, but sometimes when we are children if certain practices are not encouraged or practiced, then you may not do these in the future (e.g. or only in the case that it is required like in this class). If you don't see your parents doing these very activities, you may not do them. Or you may not even see the importance of them.
What I would encourage you to do is to find something you enjoy reading about even if it is a magazine or a newspaper.
