The Ad I Have Chosen

The ad that i chose was one that i feel stood out to me. the ad has a girl laying down on a bed. her hair is not perfect but not to messed up. she is only wearing a lacey bro and underwear combo. then if you look down the ad just a little you will see a controller, much like an x-box controller, if you follow the cord up the bed you will see that it is "plugged" into her belly button. if you just looked at the ad you might think that she was waiting for something or someone, but then you can read the caption and it says " keep dreaming of a better world." this is an ad for a men's magazine called Che it is much like the magazine in America called Maxim. it is not a porn but it is looking a half naked women. i feel that it is objectifying women.  when i see this ad i think that guys are trying to control women and/or that women are just a toy or a game to be played with. when i went to the Che's website i saw that the whole magazine is half naked women. you would think that it was suppose to be for women to shop for their delicates. but then you look closer and you see that it is meant for men and that it is kinda like a porn magazine. i feel that this magazine is put out so that men can use their imagination to come up with ideas about whats under the underwear. i feel that women should not be looked at as a toy and a game. women should not be controlled and i don't feel that women should have to show off their body for a man. if a guy is looking at that and thinking that he wants something like that then he will never find it, well not in this world.

Hi,
    My name is Kelly Wolfe and I am 20 years old. This is my first year but my second semester here at Missouri Western. I am from right here in St. Joe. I don't really like to read or write but I'm trying to like them both, but it is taking some getting use to. Reading and writing has always been hard for me, for example when I read or write something the words sometimes more on me, so I can read the same thing over and over again and see something different every time and that make writing that much harder. Although I do have to say that if I focus hard enough I can get into a good book, but its a lot of work.
